As of this date, there is no algae issue.  My tanks grow a thin layer of green algae on everything, but it stays away from healthy plants.  Since there is no substrate, it grows on the glass floor, which is easily wiped away each week or two during water change.  It grows on the tank walls….but still easily wiped away each cleaning.  So, no issue.

Here are some pictures of just cleaned vs 4 day and 8 day old un-cleaned tanks.  I’m not sure why my camera changes tints in some pictures, but, it seems to be correlated to water changes.  There must be a slight tint to the water that the camera picks up on.  The redder tinted pics look like the green of the algae to the naked eye.  Barely noticeable.  But the camera sees it as red.  The typical green slimy algae lightly covers the walls, etc., but it is no problem and cleans easily. Spot algae, brown diatoms, hair algae, etc., are not problems in these tanks so far.  I used to have problems when I had fewer plants, and lower light.

Update: 08-30-2015

Found some spot algae on leaves.  Very slight so far, am hoping fertilizing will keep it from getting out of hand.  Also see one spot of green hair algae on the stem of my anubias.  I cleaned that off right away.

Tank #2, 8 day old tank, will clean tomorrow.  As you can see, thin layer of green algae on glass and some plants.  Once I wash the plants in chlorinated water, and wipe down the tank, it will look like the other tanks again:
